PICuP SMD Convertor PCB

One of the problems designers encounter prototyping circuits using thru-hole PCB technology is the difficulty obtaining certain parts other than as SMD parts.

To make the replacement of standard but sometimes hard to find (and expensive !) 8 pin DIP devices (eg MAX477) with cheaper SMD equivalents, we have made available our own in-house solution.

The PICuP SMD Convertor is a tiny PCB which converts industry standard small outline (SMD) 8 pin devices to their 8 pin DIP equivalents.
